we’re redefining postpartum care

because postpartum needs can’t be solved in one visit

The accepted standard for postpartum care is a single visit 4-6 weeks after giving birth.

Yet women are more likely to die in the first 12 months after giving birth than during childbirth1 and more than one-third of women experience life-long health complications after giving birth.

In fact., the U.S. maternal mortality rate continues to rise each year, and women of color face even greater risks.

One visit isn’t enough.

Ovia Health knows that postpartum care requires multiple seasons of care, not just one episode

Our new Postpartum Experience is a comprehensive, 12-month program that’s personalized to each woman’s preconception care, birth, delivery type, physical, social, and financial health.

With Ovia’s Postpartum Experience, we’ve expanded the postpartum care period to a full year to address the breadth of needs starting from pregnancy and birth recovery, common postpartum complications, to the physical, mental, sexual, and financial health of each woman to holistically support them for better lifelong health.
